Not a big fan of alleys with sad eyelids. It makes me feel sorry for them. No real preference between angry or flat, nor between fat or skinny. I think skinny legs are easier to align though.

The alignment is identical on these two cats. You can see on the cream legged one that some of that far leg is showing, therefore you can also assume it's showing on the textured leg one too (solid texture often disguises this). Textured legs get the placement because the misalignment is harder to see, but I'd advise reposing both of these.

Three nice alignments here. One gives a flatter front foot, one gives a nicer nose which is centred, and the other gives the nicest nose but it's off centre. I tend to be more partial the the nicer centred nose, but it's not a big factor in my considerations. None of the cats I placed today have that alignment.

All the DQs were due to barring issues. Barring on the legs is easy to overlook, both as the person registering the cat and the person accepting it. The thing being forgotten most often is that the link between the ankle and the knee must be barred.


Minimum barring requirements

If anybody disagrees with this minimum requirement, please feel free to find the examples required for a standard update. I have, however, looked myself multiple times, and I think it's pretty accurate as it currently is. Happy to be proven wrong though!
