Memory: I have so many memories of my early PC days and it's so hard to pick just one lol I have made so many awesome online friends over the years who have taught me lots of different things about petz! I also have lots of memories with different petz sites starting up and some sadly closing down. I have watched holiday advents grow from only a handful of people being involved in them to lots of people joining in on the fun! I also definitely remember my first dog that was born in dogz 4. He was a Great Dane/Dali mix that I named Spotz lol I was so excited when he was born! Petz is such an amazing game and the petz community is fantastic as well! Thank you for the opportunity on this amazing hex!

My favorite Petz memory is being in high school downloading hexing tutorials on floppy disks because I didn't have internet at home. I slowly leaned to hex and strongly remember the joy I felt when I was successful and didn't crash the breed file. I rember making a simple border collie not knowing that people have made multiple breed files.

Your Name: Szmantha Discord: szmantha.at.szk Memory: So I didn't know how the internet worked as a child, so I wasn't "in" the PC, though I was playing Dogz 4 at a very young age (probably early 2000s, if not earlier). I remember my sister and I first discovered Dogz 4 at a friend's house, and then that same friend gifted my sister a copy for her birthday (which was hosted at a roller rink - very early 2000s). I used to play "with" my sister, which mostly involved me forcing her to watch me play. I was obsessed with us collecting the coins from South Seas Island and shells from the beach and decorating our "rooms" (mine was the family room, hers was the TV room from the editor).
I don't actually remember much about the petz we adopted, except that I really liked poodles and would often breed my Fifis (yes, they were all named Fifi) with other breeds to create little mixed-breed abominations. I'd get so excited when they were cute, and so let down when they were "ugly." I think at some point I did figure out how to cheat the pregnancy system by skipping the calendar forward (without any help from the internet! Go me!).

Memory: This is a REALLY old memory (think 1999/2000) but way back in the days of old, I was a HUGE fan of cybriar, the petz loft, butterfly petz, daizy kennels, etc. and wanted to be friends with these site owners SO BAD. I would hangout in Petz2Chat all day just hoping to catch someone online so I could talk to them! Anyway, one day I went into the AIM room, petz chat, and starting talking to people not knowing who anybody was because AIM screennames. I started joking around with this girl and we started messaging either outside of Petz Chat. It turned out to be Andi from The Petz Backyard/The Petz Loft. Anyway, we were really good friends for a few months and she made me a layout for my then site, Golden Pawprints Cattery, and I honestly thought I was the next "pastel site" lmao. Didnt happen but getting a layout made by the co-owner of The Petz Loft is a pretty good memory. Sort of bummed that I dont have a screenshot of it still.

Memory: one of my favorite early petz memories was spending hours just scrolling though petz sites, looking for cool stuff to download to add to my game. At first I would ask my mom to help me download stuff but eventually I got sick of waiting for her and just figured out how to do it myself haha
